- Type DELETE to confirm, then click Delete account.
Prefer we do it for you?
If you can't access your account, email us from the address on your account at support@everythings.app and we will delete it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. We immediately and permanently delete:
- Your account and profile (name, email address, profile picture, and login credentials)
- Every workspace you own, including all things (notes/items), comments, and marks (reactions) inside them — for you and for anyone you shared those workspaces with
- Files and images you uploaded
- Your comments and marks in workspaces owned by other people
- Your access tokens, API keys, connected-app authorizations, and usage/analytics records
- Your membership in workspaces others shared with you
What is kept, and for how long
- Content owned by other people: workspaces owned by someone else remain theirs. Your contributions to them (comments, marks) are deleted, but the workspace and its other content are not.
- Billing records: if you had a paid subscription, it is cancelled immediately. Payment and invoice records held by our payment processor (Stripe) are retained only as long as required to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations (typically up to 7 years). These records do not include your Everythings content.
- Backups: residual copies may persist in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
- Legal holds: in the rare case we are legally required to retain specific information, we keep only what the law requires and delete it as soon as the obligation ends.
