Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Everythings ("Everythings", "we", "us") is a collaborative workspace application that lets you organize notes, ideas, projects, and lists into hierarchical "things" inside shareable workspaces. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Everythings on the web or mobile, why we collect it, and how it is handled.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and profile picture, either entered directly when you register with email/password, or provided by Google when you choose "Continue with Google".
- Content you create: workspaces, things, comments, marks (reactions), and any files or images you upload.
- Usage information: basic activity such as which things you've viewed, used to power features like recently-visited items.
3. How we use Google account data
When you sign in with Google, we request only your basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) through Google Sign-In. We use this solely to:
- Create and authenticate your Everythings account
- Display your name and avatar to collaborators you share workspaces with
- Send you account-related email (e.g. invitations, password resets)
We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google service, and we never sell or share your Google account data with third parties for advertising purposes.
4. How we store and protect data
Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase) protected by row-level security, so only you and the collaborators you explicitly invite to a workspace can access its contents. Uploaded files and images are stored in a private cloud storage bucket. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all traffic.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
- With collaborators you explicitly invite to a workspace
- With service providers who help us run Everythings (e.g. hosting, database, email delivery), bound by confidentiality obligations
- When required by law
6. Your choices
You can edit or delete your workspaces and things at any time from within the app. To delete your account and associated data entirely, contact us at support@everythings.app.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
