Everythings

Help & how-to

Everything you need to get started — and to get the most out of Everythings.

What is Everythings?

Everythings is a collaborative workspace for your notes and items. You create workspaces, fill them with things — rich notes that nest into a tree — then react with marks, discuss in comments, and share with the people you work with.

Getting started

1. Create a workspace

A workspace is a collaborative container for a project, a team, or an area of your life. Create one from the workspaces screen, name it, and it becomes the home for everything inside it. You can own several and be a member of others people share with you.

2. Add things

A thing is a note or item inside a workspace — anything you want to keep. Give it a title and fill the body with rich content: headings, lists, checklists, tables, code blocks, images, and embeds. Changes save as you go.

3. Organize into a tree

Things nest under other things, so a thing can hold its own sub-things as deep as you like. Drag to reorder, drag onto another thing to re-parent it, and switch a thing's sub-items between a compact list and large cards.

4. React with marks

Marks are emoji reactions you add to a thing — a lightweight way to flag, rate, or acknowledge. Everyone's marks are tallied on the thing, and Everythings also quietly tracks who has viewed a thing.

5. Discuss with comments

Leave comments on a thing and reply to build threads. Comments keep the conversation attached to the item it's about, instead of scattered across chats and email.

6. Share and collaborate

Invite people to a workspace by email. They get an invitation (which expires after 7 days) and, once they accept, become members who can read and contribute. The owner can remove members, hand ownership to someone else, and members can leave at any time.

Questions

Is Everythings free?

Yes — the Free plan covers personal and small-household use: 3 workspaces, 3 members each, comments, file uploads, custom reactions, and the voice/AI assistant (with your own AI API key) all included. Plus raises every limit. See the pricing page for the exact, published numbers.

How do I organize things into a hierarchy?

Any thing can contain sub-things, forming a tree. Add a thing inside another to nest it, drag to reorder within a level, and drag a thing onto a different parent to move it. There's no fixed depth.

How does sharing work?

Open a workspace's members/share screen and invite people by email. They receive an invitation that expires in 7 days; accepting makes them a member. The owner controls membership and can transfer ownership; members can leave whenever they want.

Can I connect an AI agent?

Yes. Everythings runs an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any MCP-compatible agent can read — and, with a write token, edit — your workspaces. In Claude it takes one click from the connector directory listing, and your workspaces and things then render as the Everythings view inside the chat: tiles, marks and comments you can click through. See the Connect AI agents guide for step-by-step setup.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account and all of its data from Settings, or from the account-deletion page. Deletion is permanent and also removes data you shared with others.
