Collaboration
Any workspace can be shared. The people you invite see the same things you do, add their own, and talk about them in comments.
Sharing a workspace
Invite someone
- In the workspace switcher, choose Members.
- Click Invite Member, enter their email and click Send Invitation.
The invitation lasts 7 days. Until it is accepted it shows under Pending invitations, where you can resend it or cancel it with the ✕.
Accept an invitation
The invitation arrives by email. Without an account yet, the link lets you sign up with Google, Apple or an email address. In the app, invitations wait in the 🔔 bell at the top right: choose Accept and the workspace joins your switcher, or Decline.
Members and ownership
The Members page lists everyone in the workspace. The owner can remove a member with the ✕ beside their name, or choose Make owner to hand the workspace to them, which makes the old owner a regular member. Anyone else can leave with Leave workspace.

Marks
Everyone in a workspace uses the same default marks, so a shared list like ✅ done, 👀 reviewing and 🔥 urgent becomes the team's status board. Each person's mark counts separately, and hovering a mark shows who added it.
Agents in a shared workspace
When someone's AI agent writes in a shared workspace, the thing is labelled with the agent's name and other members' notifications say it came “via” that agent. See Agents.
Notifications
New activity collects in the 🔔 bell at the top right, and the phone app sends it as push notifications. You choose what reaches you separately for each workspace: open the switcher, choose Notifications, and tick the kinds you want.

Everything except edits and deletions is on until you turn it off. You never hear about your own actions, apart from the two agent kinds, which exist so you hear from an agent working as you.
Public links
Show one thing to anyone
Share public link in a thing's ⋮ menu makes a link anyone can open without an account. It shows that thing and everything nested under it, read-only: visitors can't edit, comment or mark. Stop sharing turns the link off.
Questions
What can members do?
Members can read everything in the workspace and add to it: create and edit things, comment, and mark. Only the owner can invite and remove people, hand over ownership, or delete the workspace.
How many people can I invite?
It depends on the owner's plan. On Free a workspace holds 3 people, the owner included; on Plus, 50. The pricing page lists every limit.
The person I invited didn't get the email.
Check their spam folder first. On the Members page, Resend sends the invitation again. They can also sign in with the invited address and accept from the bell.
Is there an invite link I can post somewhere?
No. Invitations go to one email address each, so only the person you chose can join. To show a thing to anyone, use a public link instead: it is read-only and covers one thing and what is nested under it.
Why can't I edit a shared workspace any more?
A workspace goes read-only when it is over its owner's plan limits, for example after the owner moves from Plus to Free with more members or things than Free allows. Nothing is deleted; the owner can remove members or things, or upgrade, to unlock it.

Comments
The 💬 on a thing opens its comments, with a count of how many there are. Write in the box and click Add Comment. The pencil and trash icons on a comment edit or delete it. In the phone app you can also reply to a comment.
